What is Macro Management? How
many schemes have been integrated in the formulation of Macro Management
Scheme? |
1. Macro
Management means combination of different schemes to make it larger. 27
different schemes have been integrated to formulate this Scheme. |

the purpose of Macro Management Scheme? |
2. The main
purpose of the Macro Management Scheme is to provide flexibility to the
States to develop and pursue activities on the basis of their regional
priorities. |

3.How it is
being implemented? |
3. This
Scheme is being implemented through the various agencies like State
Agriculture, Horticulture, Soil Conservation, Forest Deptt. and other
Implementing Agencies in the State. |

4. What are
the subsidy rates and which are the items on which subsidy is available? |
4. Subsidy
per farmer or per activity should not exceed 25% of the cost or the
present subsidy level approved under 27 identified schemes, which ever is
lower. Subsidy is available
under the Scheme on various components including agriculture implements
such as Tractor, Power Tiller, Power Thrashers, Sprinklers and Plant
Protection Equipments. Assistance
is also available on certified quality seeds and IPM/Field demonstrations.
