| S.O. ________ (E) In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section
(1) of section 3 of the Destructive Insects and Pests Act, 1914 (2 of 1914),
the Central Government hereby makes the following Order further to amend
the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Order, 2003, namely:- 1. (1) This Order may be called the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Third Amendment Order, 2005. (2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In Schedule I to the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Order, 2003(hereinafter referred to as the said Order), (i) under the heading seaports, “the asterisk sign” appearing at the end of entries against serial numbers 1,7,8,9,12,15,16,17,24,25 and 32 shall be omitted; (ii) under the heading “Land Frontier Stations”, after serial number 13, and the entry relating thereto the following serial number & entry shall be added, namely:- “14. Zokhwathar (Mizoram)” 3. In Schedule II to the said Order; (i) against serial number 17, in column (5) for the entry “Plant Quarantine Station, Varanasi,Uttar Pradesh”, the entry “Plant Quarantine Cell, Central Integrated Pest Management Centre, Gorakhpur” shall be substituted; (ii) against serial number 52, in column (4) for the entry “Container Freight Station”, the entry ”Inland Container Depot” shall be substituted; (iii) against serial number 58, in column (5) for the entry “Regional Plant Quarantine Station, Mumbai”, the entry “Plant Quarantine Cell, Central Integrated Pest Management Centre, Indore” , shall be substituted; (iv) against serial number 60, in column (5) for the entry “Plant Quarantine Station, Patna”, the entry “Plant Quarantine Cell, Central Integrated Pest Management Centre, Patna” shall be substituted. |
