Technology mission on Oilseeds, Pulses & Maize Division
under
National Oilseeds and Vegetable Oils Development Board Act, 1983 (29 of 1983)
G.S.R. 634(E). – In exercise of the powers
conferred by Section 18 of the National Oilseeds and Vegetable Oils Development Board Act,
1983 (29 of 1983 ), the Central Government hereby makes the rules further to amend the
National Oilseeds and Vegetable Oils Development Board Rules, 1984, namely:-
1.
(1)
These rules may
be called, the National Oilseeds and Vegetable Oils Development Board (Second Amendment) Rules, 1998.
(2) They shall come into
effect on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2.
In
the National Oilseeds and Vegetable Oils Development Board Rules, 1984, for sub-rule (4)
of rule 30, the following shall be substituted, namely : -
“(4) Such cheques and all orders
for making deposit or investment or withdrawal of the same or for the disposal in any
other manner of the funds of the Board shall be signed by the Secretary and in his absence
by Finance and Accounts Officer and countersigned by the Executive Director or any other
officer of the Board duly authorised by him.”
